Early diagnosis of Lyme disease
Lyme disease, transmitted by ticks, is caused by a bacterium and affects 1.2 million people every year. Current detection methods are clinical (visual) or immunological (the appearance of antibodies against the bacterium). These methods require the onset of symptoms, weeks or months after infection. This often leaves the disease undiagnosed and untreated, making treatment less effective and allowing acute symptoms to develop. Our portable Lyme diagnostic allows for the detection of the bacterium responsible for Lyme disease right after a tick bite, directly on the bite site. This product reduces the medical wandering often experienced by Lyme disease patients.
Zika and Chikungunya Virus Diagnostics
Our tests have been collectively field tested on over 300 patients, demonstrating over 98% accuracy and 100% specificity compared to the CDC gold standard PCR protocol.

SARS-CoV-2 Diagnostics
Our COVID-19 diagnostic kit has been developed to work with the simplest extractions, and results are provided for 100 tests in less than an hour. In addition, the kit can distinguish major variants, thanks to our nucleotide-resolution detection technique.
Under development
We are developing a duplex diagnostic for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea, which allows for the screening of these sexually transmitted infections in the privacy and comfort of one's home in less than 30 minutes.
